The RecordNow software included on the DVD400 installation disc must be installed for the firmware update to operate successfully. Install RecordNow before running HP DVD Writer dvd400i Firmware BH04 Windows 2000 XP update.

Instructions:
Download the dvd400c-Bh04.exe file to the computer containing the DVD400 drive. Once the file is fully downloaded, double-click the dvd400c-Bh04.exe file to install and initiate the firmware update. Follow the on-screen directions to complete the DVD400 firmware update.
