Kodak i800 Scanner Firmware description

Kodak i800 Scanner Firmware v3.10.

Note: If your application requires image files to have a line length which is padded to 32 bits, you will need to apply Kodak i800 Scanner Firmware v3.10 patch to your scanner after installing FW 3.1.0. Kodak i800 Scanner Firmware v3.10 is NOT a mandatory patch. Only use Kodak i800 Scanner Firmware v3.10 patch if your application does not display/process images correctly after upgrade. To install this patch, use SVT - TWAIN - Setup - Download. Once installed, this patch will remain resident on the scanner CPU board. Kodak i800 Scanner Firmware v3.10 will need to be reinstalled if your CPU board is replaced. This patch would also need to be applied to all new scanners. Please keep a copy of this patch so that Kodak i800 Scanner Firmware v3.10 is available at your site.

Before downloading new firmware to the scanner, please download and install the latest version of the SVT tool. After installing the latest SVT on your Host PC, then return to this page, to upgrade the Firmware as follows:

Installation Instructions:

Click and download the file to a temporary directory on your C drive.

Double click on the file to extract the firmware package file. By default, the file is put into the correct firmware directory.

Next, use the Scan Validation Tool - TWAIN to download the K800_CPU_xxxxxx.ekpgfw file from the directory selected in the previous step. You will find the Download button under the Setup tab of the SVT.

After the download has completed, power the scanner off, and then back on. The Firmware version can be checked by selecting the Info tab of the SVT or the i key of on the scanner operator control panel.
